I'm running OSX 10.6 with Max 5.
How do I set it up for 2 Axis?
Audio Midi Setup & Max Midi Setup seem to only see one of them, although I'm able to make sounds with both.
Hmmm. no one has mentioned a problem with 2 axii on a mac - generally midi device handling on a mac is much better, I gather, and I recall that someone said 2 worked fine for them. The units must be plugged in before max starts
In my 2-device tweaker program, running on XP/Win7, the default (I haven't determined how to change this) on the two separate notein objects is to read the "All Devices by Channel". Since the Axis-49's are hard-wired to mark all notes channel "1" the sounds blend.
If you double-click on one of the NoteIn objects, it should pop-up with a list of the Midi-in objects it sees. What do you see listed?
I usually see all the currently plugged in instruments, and can chose one to be read by that Notein object.
