Hi, I just got my '49 back together and I thought I'd share how it went.
My '49 got a key stuck down while I was showing it to some friends. I held it vertical and pressed a key, and it wouldn't come back up. I disassembled the unit, removed all 100 keys and cleaned the front panel with just water. After carefully drying it, I put the thing back together and the stuck key worked again. I still don't know why the stick occurred, though. The dead key I've complained about before is still dead, but also still not in the way either (since it's in a corner).
Out of curiosity, what does the S3 button do?
